Before painting

I needed riding new bike. I had never ridden such type of recumbent bike. So I have to discover the way to ride and pedaling, etc.
After I ride new recumbent designed by myself, I'm very tired. Especially my neck becomes hard. It causes headache and dizziness. It makes me to lost positive feeling.
By attaching headrest, I hope such headache and dizziness will disappear.
I'm not sure what makes me to be easy to be tired.

Cover for head rest

The last one doesn't work enough. While I was riding, it fall down. So I improved it.

My sewing skill isn't high. This time, I tried to make the new cover based on 3 dimension design.

I'm not sure whether Velcro or button is needed. It fits cushion well.

Head rest cover

This is too easy way.

Velcro strap is used.
The cloth is canvas.
Today, front deraileur becomes available.

I rode about 20 km with this bike today. Turning isn't easy.
The handle may be changed to straight one.

Making seat cover

The cushion is weak to the sun light. So the cover is needed for it.
I used canvas cloth.
At first, I made pattern paper.

Then I cut cloth.

Sewing, cutting cushion, put it in the cover.

I use Velcro to attach it on the seat.

I can't say this cover is good. The thickness of the cloth is too thick, I think. If thin canvas is used, it's enough.

Improving seat made from tubes

The frame of my pink python 's seat is bent by tension of PP belt. So I added one more tube to reinforce.

The iron tube which diameter is 12mm is weak to support my weight 76kg.

Making head rest 2

I tried making head rest again. The first one has thin tube. Metal lathe is needed to make it.
This time I used 90 degree angle instead of it.

Cramping to weld.

Welding narrow small parts on iron rod.

We need to think the direction of the gravity.

At last, I made it. I have to find screws.

I don't say this is good. Because the tube to be passed through by screw bolt is too thin.

I have to find the other idea.
