Almost finish

In this morning, I almost finish my third python.











Left task is to install cycle computerand adjust the length of brake.

Painting

I choose Swedish national color on this toner, too.









I couldn't build it in this day.
Tomorrow, it will rain.
If I build it, I can't ride it to carry it to home.

Welding iron plate to get more force

My second python got accidents.
Around the steering pivot, it was broken because of my bad welding.
So on my third python, I welded support plates.





The next, I attached fenders.





I changed the shape of reflector.



Fini.

Cracking my second python

I found cracking at around the center.





Repairing is needed right now.
It was emergency level.



It was weld with arc welding. It's hard to weld thinner iron plate.
So my welding was so bad.



I welded there with Mig welding.
I think now's my welding is better than before.

Attaching seat

I could install new seat to the new my python.



It's adjustable.





When the seat is set at the most nearest to the front tire, the fender touch the seat and we can't steer enough.



So the edges were cut more.



Washer to stay tire were made.

Fini.

Broke main frame of my second python

This early morning, I rode it.
For these days, I have felt softer feeling. I couldn't noticed that had showered splitting of main frame started.

Fortunately, I don't have any big accident.
It happened at mileage 2030 km.



Then I repaired it.







The weight point is near of the broken point.

When I made this python, I used arc welding and I welded with one pass.
This time I used Mig welding and three passes to get more force at the welded part.

But I think a pair of iron plate are welded at the both side of broken part. That's better.

Any way, I'm going to ride more 2000 km to check the potential and safety.

Making seat

I used shrinker and expander.
It's the tool to make iron plaster curved.
I forgot taking photos. I'm very sorry.
Then I make holes which makes light weight of the seat.





Using drilling machine is better for me.



Then the curved frame is attached the seat plate with screw with adjusting.



I forgot today's last shot.

I also make fender by using English wheel.

Making parts of seat to adjust the position

This time, I made adjuster of seat by welding without any drilling.







To adjust smoothly, welding bead should be flat.


After cleaning.



I attached my second python 's seat to carry it to my friend's garage.

Attaching brakes

This is first time when I use U brake.



It needs stay to attach tension adjuster. The screw is M6.



I prepared M6 nut and piece of rectangular.







My welding technique is not very good. I need more experience.



It was welded. Then inserted tension adjuster.


Boss for v brakes were welded.
Half of them are on frame to adjust the width of bvetween the bosses.



To cover the hole, I welded the bosses.



V brakes were installed.

Next, making grip to carry this.
The diameter is 22.2cm same with normal measurement of handle.



Tacking, then welding.



Wet cloth was used to cover parts while welding.



Reflector plate was made. It isn't hard.



The handle installed then levers of brakes were attached.



The wire pass through the tension adjuster.



This bike doesn't have any shifter, so I could think about wires for only brakes.



The height is about 4.5cm.
The brake wires touch the ground easily. So how the wires were attached is tricky.



To make the sheet, I have to move to my friend garage.
English wheel and expander and shrinker are needed.
