Adding LED to steampunk style brass goggles.

I have already finished my DIY brass goggle in steampunk style. I also published of making stuff here Making brass goggles
I added LED rings to my made steampunk style brass goggles.
I also changed some parts of the goggles to improve.
Actually I chose Arduino mini pro 3.3v 8Mhz. But It's a little slow to light complex LED patterns.
The LED rings were made by Adafruit. Although I tried using chinese made one, that was always noisey.
The idea of using tracing paper on the inside of glasses is Adafruit's idea.
Lipo battery was attached. The opposit side has micro computer.
I noticed the part of circuit needs cover. I tried looking for it in glossary shops, but I couldn't find good one. So I made it.
The brass sheet's thickness is 0.5mm.
 Bend, bend.
Then I soldered the 2 parts with hard silver solder. That is my way which I can use well.
I bought brass hitch. It's very thin.
 After soldering. looks very dirty.
I use a cleaner to clean toilette to clean soldered one. The cleaner includes a little acid.
Not so bad than I imagined it at first.

Then I attached micro computer and swith inside of the brass box.
I used double sided tape to fix the connector and micro computer.
Finished assembling.
I programmed LED pattern for it.
This designing way was thought by myself.
It's useful to think how the program is written.

case for foot joint of baroque flute

a foot joint needs case.
It's more easy to make a case from leather than cloth.
This is the foot joint which is early baroque style. It was made to have experiments to research how the bore affects to the potencial.
I used cheaper leather which doesn't have outside of the construction of the skin.
It is more hard to cut with exact measurements because the leather is softer.
These parts were glued and made guide holes for stitching.

The bore will shrink for the first year since finished. Re-reaming is needed to fix it for some times in the first year.

coin case

I need a coin case for me.
I had used same form one. I don't like this form as maker, because it isn't so economical.

I used cutting board to make it.
This is wrong. The tool is used for marking on the surface.
The thickness of the leather is enough thick for this coin case.

I tried making some variations.
Above one is painted. My painting skill looks like kindergarten level.

case for monocular

I use a monocular. I don't have to use binocular.
I had looked for a case for it for some years, but I may be able to make it by myself.
When I made first one. I use craft leather which thickness of 2 mm. The thickness is a little thin and soft to keep form. I glued thin leather on the inside of the leather to be the total thickness of 3 mm. However it is softer still.
I think the glue is same to wooden work.

The edges are needed to scrape to be 45 degrees.
Belt hook is needed to be attached in this beginning phase.

I use my knees to stitch leathers.
The number of the guide holes doesn't fit perfectly.

I put varnish on the inside to get stiffness. But it isn't enough.
Rolled thick paper was used to keep cylindrical form.
We can see base ball stitches !!
That is my monocular made by japanese binocular maker.
 I need improving for it.
