Making front part again

I made the front part again.
 This time, I cutted the length 900 mm and I made some incisions on same time.
I drew on board directly. Last time I drew it on paper and when I welded, the paper was burned.
For welding BB shell, I did this cutting.
To adjust, I used a hand grinder.
The center width is 129mm. This time, I will weld them with cramping.
It became cloudy. To weld, Sun light is needed, because it's hard to observe through dark glass.
Before crumping, I cleaned 2 BB shells.
The disc is changed to rough grinding and finish.

How should be the hole covered ?
The soldering may be better way.

Crumping and welding front parts Failur version

I crumped them on the drawing on paper.
They are bended to fit the drawing.
Then tac welding !
more one.
It's too hard to weld rod and recutanglars.
I had many mistakes.

 Welding.
So so. I need having more practices.
The tac welding is broken. I tried it again.


 However, These tac welding were broken, too. I welded each parts.
 How difficult. It's easy to make hole.

I can't weld well. Unrotunately, after welding, I noticed the Angle of each parts were smaller. I did griding too much then the thickness is thinner.
So I need making new one.

Changing the gear and removing painting

The rear wheel has 6 gears initially.
I changed it to 7 gears.
The gear is attached with Boss free system.
I putted in a washer to make space between gear to dropout.
I adjusted the moving  the both hubs of rear and front. I forgot taking the photos.
To move lightly, I use 2 wrenches.

Next, Removing painting. I use a remover.
We can see 2 dropouts and 2 BBSs.
Today's lunch is Yakisoba which is fryed noodle.
Fine.

Making parts for connection

A crank is cutted.
Then, it is putted in rectangular.
The crank isn't on horizontal line. By grinding, it was adjusted.
Good ! Next task is welding them. For that we need making incisions.
Like this. The width of incisions better is wider.
I had a mistake on welding. I could welded it but they aren't connected. Above photo, I tried welding again. The problem is guessed the stream of electric.
At first time, I connected the plug to the rectangular. It was fault.
At second time, I connected the plug to the crank. I could weld them.
Then grinding.
I did the both side with same way.
This is front shot. I should do the tasks more perfectly ?

Start making front part

At first, The rectangulars are prepared.
This time I cutted 950mm. On the python's web site, 850mm is written.
I am a very debutant, so I need more 100mm.
They are putted on the drawing. To bend them exactely. Then marked and made some incisions.
Then they are bended and adjusted the width of incisions by hand disc grinder.
Next, crumping and welding !

Sanding Dropouts

To weld the dropouts, they are prepared by cutting and sanding.
Too cutting isn't needed.
The balance is important ?

At first, the Fork and rectangular tube are welded.
For that, the rectangular tube needs some incisions.
The incision are made by hand disc grinder and widen the opening on the surface, ofcourse I change the disc for cutting and widing.
The vertical and horizontal angle of the fork and rectangular should be kept exactly.
Then weld them and sanding !

I needed about 3 welding rods on one face.
Next, welding 2 plates of iron on the side faces.

The distance of the edge of the plates from horizontal hole is 13cm. The vertical hole is drilled at 9 cm.
Welded and sanding and filing.
The 2 plates welded on the sides of the rectangular.
V brakes are putted on upper side of the fork.
